IBM Watson Trend App Reviews

Passed the mother-in-law test

I learned about a few new products, one of which I will by my boy for xmas. I also put it on my mother-in-law’s iPhone… she could navigate it pretty easily, and liked the tech/toys write-ups… she learned about some new products too. For these reasons… the app is a keeper.

Great potential

I appreciate the incremental feature additions like the buy and share buttons. Id like to know more about how the app "scours the Internet" - and how it helps prevent bias. In terms of use case. The best use case is to consider this a cool "gift ideas" app.

Good App

Feels innovative enough. Has a good feel to it and very simple to use. Worth downloading and looking up topics that interest you and see whats trending in regards to the specific topic you searched.

Useless POS

I dont get it? Do I need this to tell me Yoga is a top trend?

Doesnt make sense

It doesnt make sense what result it gives. Whatever you search for, it gives only specific products of tv and phones. Did you even do basic testing if it really works?

Yoga is an "emerging trend?"

This is an interesting app that brings the power of IBM Watson to the general public. This will be of particular value to parents, since adults have a hard time keeping up with what is popular with kids. To me, the most interesting category is Technology. On the other hand, I dont know why things like Yoga, Meditation, Organic Foods or Vegan Diet are listed as "Emerging Trends." These things have been around for ages, so how could they be "emerging?" In any event, I would love to see IBM Watson expanded into other areas. Imagine a Flipboard type news app that is entirely curated by Watson and geared to the users interests, or a career advice app that gives the latest information for job seekers!

Need more trends

Young people would benefit hugely by knowing what jobs are going to be in demand in 5 and 10 years time. Come on Watson!!

I see no reason to have this app

I see no reason to have this app... Maybe if it interacted like talking to Siri I could see a potential but it dose not . Market for people looking to make money of of others

Interesting concept

Neat idea - simplifying the collective wisdom of everyone online. I like the lower ranked trends - the ones that arent yet mainstream
